Five minute update

• I'm 97% done making a skirt! The broad strokes are done, it's now wearable, but I've got to fix some of my cock-ups and do the finishings. Hemming! Great! --_-- The major problem is that I didn't match up the elastic in the waistband perfectly to the side seams, so it's a couple of centimetres looser than I wanted. Fixable, it's just gonna be annoying. And yes, then I will have so much hemming to do. ... I don't know how long it's gonna take me to do that, considering that ADHD culture is doing 97% of a project in three days and that last 3% in three years.


• Exam season has started and I'm helping to present an activity at the all-staff ~~EDI Showcase~~ next week, so if you hear screaming: it's fine, it's me.


• It's been like six months, maybe I DO want to go back to twitter. I miss my friends! I didn't realise how much I was using twitter to passively keep up with everyone until I stopped, and uhhhhhhh accidentally socially isolated myself for six months. Whoops.


• Starting going to the library recreationally again. I missed it! Especially because my local library has a really good selection of queer manga for me to rummage through.


• One of the TTRPGs I'm in is a Scion game about kicking the shit out of white supremacists, and my character now has a biker jacket with THIS DYKE KILLS FASCISTS written on the back. :D


• Watched Eurovision, German entry was FUCKING ROBBED. Also I'm so glad JaigaEleph could explain to me why the Icelandic scores were given by the fucking Punisher, if for no other reason than her explanation described Hatari as "the anti-capitalist bdsm band."


• Where do people even go to find out what fandom drama is going on anymore? If I just google "What has AO3 done this time" or "Why are people leaving Pinboard" will that get me anything?
