Today in questions I had to ask twitter: "... Is using a quote from the charismatic christian movement as the title for a Bioshock Infinite fic too on the nose?"
(Once again, my habit of googling quotes before using them for anything has served me well, because I think if I'm gonna quote a prosperity gospel flavoured evangelical church leader, I should know that I'm doing that. Even if I don't know how to phrase an "I am not quoting this person because I support them OR their movement" citation note for AO3.)

drabble_zone prompt "Just getting started" | Another woman might have done it differently.
She's seen all the doors and what's behind all the doors, so she knows there's an Elizabeth who wouldn't want to wait. An Elizabeth who was her fathers' daughter, blood on her hands and murder in her heart. An Elizabeth who would stand under Cohen's spotlight like this and think Do I need Comstock to remember?
Comstock has a lifetime of scars and calluses that Booker didn't, but he has a similar mark on the back of his gun hand. Gothic lettering, something that must have taken time and skill and another person's hands, nothing like the penitent brand Booker carved into himself. What did Comstock think those letters stood for, if he'd truly forgotten?
There's an Elizabeth who'd look at the initials of a little girl who never became her, a girl Comstock marked himself to remember and worked to forget, and wouldn't care if he remembered.
She is that Elizabeth, and she can run her tongue over her teeth and almost taste the blood – but she's every Elizabeth who learned patience in her tower. Every Elizabeth who asked Booker to dance once before.
She's an Elizabeth who can stand under Cohen's spotlight and hold out her hand.
