It's back to work we go!

Hello my darlings!
August has been SO BUSY, oh my goodness. Like, full-on "left England three times, spent most of the month with literally only £3 in my bank account, lost a solid week to phone games and yelling at Netflix" levels of busy. But it's cool, it's fine, the summer is over and I'm back at work. Honestly I thought I'd be more upset about having to go back, because y'know, two months is a long time to go without having to wear real shoes, but it's... Okay so far? Admittedly term hasn't started yet so we're not really BUSY, so it isn't fair to say. But it's so nice to have a routine again!
(External structure: good for people with ADHD, who knew!)
I'm trying to think if there's any gossip from work, and all I'm getting is "Management are SHOCKED that the new self-service machines that broke down seven times in the hour-long demo are consistently breaking down in general use" and "THE PLAGUE HAS STRUCK THIS BUILDING, NO STAFF MEMBER IS SAFE FROM THE PRE-FRESHER'S FLU." The biggest impact being back at work has is that I'm in the process of brute-forcing my sleep-cycle, because I very foolishly let it revert to my natural "Stay up till 3am, get up at 9am" pattern the week before I had to start getting up at 6am instead. Yes, I'm blaming that for why getting things done after work is being a pain in the arse. No, I am not acknowledging that trying to get things done when I'm still adjusting to leaving the house every day is a silly plan.
... Seriously though, I'm one of those "If I have momentum, I will do SO MUCH" people (... It's the ADHD), and it turns out that going back to work is what's giving me momentum. Like "Ugh, I'm out of the house anyway, I might as well book all my medical appointments/completely restructure my filofax/buy a new coat because the sleeve is falling off my current one." I'm hopefully going to channel that momentum into writing about everything I got up to over the summer, poke me if I don't.
But yes. I've been kinda using social media as a broadcast medium instead of reading it, so I'm behind on EVERYTHING. How are you all? What's going on? Is your corner of the world on fire as well?
