spindizzy: Rin holding a book sadly (This book makes me sad)
[personal profile] spindizzy

  • Is Shirou helping her clean out her magic room? Because that could... Take a while.
  • "If you trip on something and break it, can you imagine what would happen?" says girl who PROBABLY knows what's going on in this lab. Hopefully. Maybe. Possibly.
  • I wish I had space in my house to pile up all of my books in one corner while I cleaned the rest of it...
  • Hey look, it's a non-skeletal version of that fax machine that Necrodad had in Fate/Apocrypha!
  • "You know, it'd be very dangerous if that lid opened by mistake," says Tohsaka, probably trolling.
  • Shirou's confusion at Tohsaka letting him going into her room unsupervised gives me life.
  • Rin: *gives off the aura of an organised person* *actually lives like a goblin*
  • Who is Rin writing to at the Clock Tower? ... Is it Waver?
  • Rin refusing to let Shirou cook because he's over to help her clean is true honour.
  • SAKURA VOLUNTEERING TO HELP SO THAT SHE CAN HANG OUT WITH RIN IS THE PUREST THING.
  • That is a suspiciously cute apron for Rin to own. ... Also omg omg omg look at Sakura figuring out bits of Rin's personality, that's so sweet! And also really sad, because she doesn't already know!
  • I love watching characters put their hair in ponytails, it always looks like they're about to throw down.
  • Look at this beautiful shoujo-sparkle view of Rin, this is so sweet.
  • "I had a feeling you were going to make something Chinese. I don't often make Chinese food, so I was hoping you could show me how." *wails quietly about these adorable sweethearts fumbling towards getting to know each other*
  • THE WAY SAKURA LIGHTS UP AND SHOUJO SPARKLES WHEN RIN SAYS SHE CAN HELP THOUGH.
  • Once I watched Sweetness and Lightning and saw explicitly the instruction to put your hand like a cat paw while chopping things, I see it everywhere!
  • The fond way they look at each other kills me dead. And Shirou watching this happen like "Aww, I shouldn't intrude."
  • Shirou: Physically incapable of waiting quietly when there's work to be done.
  • Rin is also too powerful, she can crack eggs on the edge of the counter.
  • LOOK AT HOW HAPPY THEY ARE WHEN RIN FLIPS THE RICE!
  • Everyone has fish windchimes and this is adorable.
  • Oh good! He didn't get sucked into some sort of bizarre trap-artifact while he was cleaning!
  • ... Shirou reminds her of Archer. I AM YELLING.
  • I love how casually confident Rin is about her cooking. It feels deserved!
  • Awww, Sakura wants to make it next time!
  • "I'd love to learn more from you, Rin!"
    "Y-you would?"

*THROWS SELF INTO THE SEA OVER THESE TWO GETTING ALONG AND HOW FLUSTERED RIN IS*
  • Ingredients: Eggs, carrots, leaks, green peppers, kamaboko, roasted pork.
  • Recipe: Take the roasted pork, carrots, kamaboko, leeks, and green peppers, and chop them to the size of grains of rice. This is so all the ingredients get cooked quickly and evenly with a nice texture. Heat the frying pan and add a little oil. Cook the carrots over medium heat, and when they're cooked halfway through, add the roasted pork, kamaboko, and green peppers. Season it lightly with salt and pepper, then remove it from the frying pan and place it onto a plate. Beat the eggs separately. Then, add a generous amount of oil into the frying pan over medium to high heat, and pour in the beaten eggs. Scramble them well to make little pieces of scrambled eggs. Then before the eggs are cooked through, add the rice while the eggs are still half-cooked, and stire it as if slicing through it with a wooden spatula. Now, add all the other ingredients that you've already cooked, along with the leeks, and season it with some Japanese sake, salt, and pepper. Sway the pan back and forth to mix it without lifting the food.
