• Catra is SO DONE with Shadow Weaver's shit. SO DONE. That "Another Adora mission" is PEAK "I do have a real job you know."

• The grown-ups are fighting agaaaaaaaaaain. Seriously, this sounds like my mum talking about my sisters on my dad's side where she sends xmas/birthday cards and doesn't get them back.

• Glimmer, you really need to explain to people that Adora is a child soldier and doesn't understand what "children's stories" are.


• I feel like the next time I need to explain what having anxiety is like, I'm going to sit people down with this episode of She-Ra.

• Relaxing and sleeping are the same thing, right? Because whenever I try to relax, I also fall asleep.

• Noooooooo Adoraaaaaaaaa. This is stressing me out, I hate the bit in tv shows where the protagonist has to convince their friends that the thing that is happening is ACTUALLY HAPPENING so they can deal with it.


• ... Also, we're over halfway through the series and they're only just finding out that someone RAISED Adora?


• "Shadow Weaver raised me in the horde. She taught me how to read and tie boots and subvert the enemy and be victorious in battle."
  "Okay, sure, mom stuff."
  THIS SAYS SO MUCH ABOUT BOTH OF YOU.


• ADORA HAS A POINT, SHE HASN'T EVEN GOT TO THE BIT WHERE SHADOW WEAVER IS A LITERAL WIZARD WHO PROBABLY USED TO RUN THIS TOWN.


• "Sounds like this Shadow Weaver really did a number on you growing up. But it's okay now, you got away from her!" That's simultaneously validating and invalidating, I'm impressed.


• ADORA MAYBE ALONE IS NOT WHERE YOU SHOULD BE RIGHT NOW.


• Ugggggggh this episode is not good for Susans, okay, this is making my anxiety jump.


• IT'S NOT CATRA. CATRA WOULD NEVER SAY THAT.


• Man, this is Shadow Weaver going for all of the weak points.


• DUDES HAVE YOU EVEN FUCKING LOOKED FOR THE HORDE. MAYBE CONSIDER THE FACT THAT THE HORDE HAVE BEEN POPPING UP IN ALL OF THE PLACES YOU LEAST EXPECT, MAYBE?

• Like, I want to talk intelligently about how Adora always had the strength to fight, but now what she's found is the strength to protect but let's be real I am just yelling METAPHOR!


• Oh no, I think I'm crying about Shadow Weaver taking Adora apart verbally and Adora keeping on trying to save the day anyway.

• Casta wanting to knit Adora a sweater is so good. Like, Mrs Weasley levels of everyone getting a sweater.


• She just needs love and reassurance! Look at her finally being able to relax with her friends there to tell her that they're all okay!

• Well, that episode was upsetting in an apparently deep and visceral level, wow. Excuse me while I take a break.
