Sleep? I don't know her

Good morning my darlings! How are you you all? What've you been up to?

I am moderately-to-very tired. Still falling asleep at random moments (most recently: during training sessions at work, which was weird because I'd close my eyes, my brain would go "The presenter is moving towards you really fast!" and then I'd jerk awake and she wouldn't have moved, it was just my brain misfiring because I was asleep enough to dream, but awake enough to know that things were happening around me.). I did mention it to my doctor! I'm now on variable amounts of Amitriptylene, which is... It's a thing? Apparently it's a muscle-relaxant, which is good because it means that I'm not grinding my teeth in my sleep, but also bad because I don't think I'm sleeping properly. UGH why is basic maintenance so complicated? Why did my doctor tell me that my weird dreams are a sign of not sleeping enough?

Apart from that... Um. I've been watching more She-Ra, and Scorpia was on-screen for a whole three seconds before I paused it and had to tell Lex that I was in love with her. ("I told you you would be!" "Yes, and I'm telling you that you were right.")

For games, well.

• I've been too frazzled to play FFXIV, which is awkward because I was enjoying getting MASSIVELY LOST on the tiny intro maps. Not sarcasm! Genuinely was just massively getting lost outside of Ul-Dah and HOPING that I'd somehow end up somewhere I needed to be. I've also somehow managed to somehow become a higher level weaver than I am a gladiator, despite spending one (1) evening on being a weaver and several on being a gladiator.


• I've been playing Bomber Crew as a brain break, which is frustrating because my plane dramatically crash-landed and now I need to buy a NEW PLANE and run BABY MISSIONS until my plane can actually survive... No, that'll do, just until it can survive. I don't have high hopes for this new plane, especially because I can't store enough parachutes for emergencies so I've had to choose my designated survivors.


• I bought the Ardyn DLC for FFXV (I AM STILL ANGRY THAT WE DIDN'T GET THE ARANEA AND LUNAFREYA DLCS, BECAUSE WHY DID YOU CANCEL THE DLC THAT WOULD HAVE ACTUALLY PUT PLAYABLE FEMALE CHARACTERS IN YOUR GAME YOU ARSEHOLES!), but I've not played it yet. I think I'm canary-in-a-coal-mining it for Team Naptime? I could be wrong. ... I really hope it doesn't make me feel sympathy for Ardyn because he's my "Ugh, TAKE YOUR SCRUFFY FACE AND ATTRACTIVE VOICE AND LEAVE SIR!" character for FFXV.
  
• I finally started playing The Arcana, only about two years after branewurms recommended to me! I desperately want to date ALL OF THE CHARACTERS but I'm trying to be restrained and play the free routes before I go ham and buy EVERY ROUTE of them. My livetweet is over here, and it mostly consists of "LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL IDIOT" and "DO NOT BANG THAT IDIOT" in equal measure. I'm probably going to come on here and shriek in long form though.

Apart from that... captainraz and I are doing Camp Nanowrimo because she wants to work on her next novel, and I want to sink a lot of words into my various projects for this year, because hahahaha I have so much to write and not enough hours in the day. Or y'know, there ARE enough hours in the day, but I have to spend some of them doing boring things like "working" and "sleeping." On the plus side, I currently have more reviews queued up for Lady Business that I actually published at all last year, so I can't be doing TOO badly.

So yeah, that's me. Continuing to be a disaster in all the ways you know and love, trying to get enough time to play ALL the games. What about you lot? What've you been up to?

I am also doing Camp Nano but after a good start on the first few days, I feel behind and now I need to catch up but .... ugh... my brain isn't wording words and my clock is mocking me because I have been overly busy for 5 days in a row without feeling like I am accomplishing much with what else (non writing things) needs to be done.

I need to have a few epic writing days later this week to catch up.

No spoilers but I liked it! But then I RP Ardyn on tumblr a bit (purely because a friend was like THE ARDYN WRITERS WOOBIFY HIM ALL THE TIME and I was like OH NO YOU NEED SOMEONE HAVING A WHALE OF A TIME BEING EVIL) and I want more canon/to have the canon set. And I'll take more FFXV content happily even though SERIOUSLY ARANEA AND LUNA ARE SUCH GREAT CHARACTERS WITH SO MUCH POTENTIAL WHY WHY WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY DID YOU DO ALL DUDES AND NONE OF THE FUCKING WOMEN IN FOUR DLCS (j/k I know why).
