Objectivism is for arseholes and we all know it

So I started playing the Bioshock remaster, because I wanted to test my theory that the correct order to play them for maximum twists is Bioshock Infinite -> Bioshock -> I guess Bioshock 2 if you have to -> Burial at Sea. I'm trying REALLY HARD to not consider time that I spent enjoying myself as wasted, but the game glitched twice and deleted about eight hours of save files, and I'm not even sure I was enjoying it so I'm a LITTLE miffed at wasting my weekend.

I think my problem is two-fold! One: I really don't like blank-slate protagonists, especially in a first-person game. There's nothing for my grabby little fic-writing brain to latch onto! Even a silent protagonist in a third-person POV game is better, because then at least I've got body language or physical reactions to ponder on! But this? Nothing. Two: if I want to listen to rich men masturbating at the idea of poor people suffering, I'd watch the news. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So yeah, not my jam, and I am taking this second crash eating FIVE HOURS OF PROGRESS as a sign! To let it go! Maybe watch a commentary-free playthrough on Youtube because the trust is gone! But I'm gonna gripe about stuff first, because of who I am as a person. (Spoilers up to... Poseidon? Fleet Hall?)
