I think Lex was waiting to see how long it took me to notice

- Let's War by The Plastic Constellations — This feels like the character introductions for someone edgelord White Wolf/Onyx Path urban fantasy RPG, and I think it's supposed to be this out of tune? ... I have no idea what's going on with this song, okay, it's just sometimes the most appropriate song I have to hand.
- Oh no! by Marina and the Diamonds — "I feel like I'm the worst so I always act like I'm the best!" is the biggest mood of all.
- Fire by BTS —
renay was appalled to have failed me in my hour of need, in that I don't think I've ever knowingly listened to BTS. Congrats Nay! This one went into my looping rotation!
- Phoenix by Cailin Russo and Chrissy Costanza — Listen, I just want someone to rescue Riot's music video team and rehabilitate them into a less abusive nightmare of a workplace. But hey, this is another song that can go on my all-purpose "Narratives That Susans Love" playlist!
- Legends Never Die by Against the Current — I am tentatively noodling at a thing, and this song is currently my background music for that noodling!
- Resurection by Erection by Powerwolf — Okay, there is this recurring problem where a song on Lex's car playlist needs to go past me a couple of times before I actually parse any of the lyrics. So please imagine me half-asleep in the car, on our way to work, the third time I've heard this mix, then suddenly zoning back in and asking "I'm sorry, resurrection by what? Raise your what to the sky?"
- Down With the Sickness (Waaay too happy cover) by Melodicka Bros — I didn't know that you could do a pop cover of Down With the Sickness, but you know what? SURE.
I'm also tentatively listening to those chill mixes that you get, because my brain has decided that Noisli is verboten. I've tried this ChillCow one and this one with the raccoon, although I'm finding them a bit hit and miss – sometimes it's fine, and then sometimes my brain just goes NOPE THIS IS TOO MUCH STIMULATION and rebels. Brain, how. Why. These are literally designed to not be stimulating. The only way they coud be LESS stimulating is if I put on an endless loop of elevator music. The one that seems to be working today is The JazzHop Café's one, so apparently I just need hold music to take up a bit of brain space so I can actually type.
