Apparently they changed how visitors work in Animal Crossing as part of the summer update, so instead of having three definite visitors and rotating chances between the others, it's now a random chance of any of the nine of the visitor characters each day, and the four that you don't see will have priority the week after. (Source and cute infographic that people are arguing about in the comments) That would explain why it's Wednesday and I've had both Flick and CJ but none of the shopkeepers! *updates chart accordingly*
