... I askedrenay whether you could hear me screaming when they read out my name, which apparently you could! Auuuuuuuugh. And I mentioned this to my friends (we're playing Pandemic Legacy, RIGHT NOW.), which ended up with
Me, to the room: I have shamed my ancestors!
Chris: By winning a literary award? I knew things were harsh in Manchester but even so!
(ON THE PLUS SIDE, now that I've had a chance to watch it, you can't hear what I actually screamed, which was "WHAT?!" at the top of my lungs, because oh my god, you guys. My god.)
But yeah, now I just -- I could cry. We tried so hard, and we did so well, and people LIKE US, waaaaah
