spindizzy: Catra smiling confidently (You think you're ready for this?)
Today was a suspiciously good work day, I think this is a trap.
  • I made a headset bag for one of my coworkers and she said that she really likes it! (Which is good because I accidentally gave her a heart attack by saying "There's a thing magneted to the white board for you!" and also her and one of my other coworkers were just like "Ugh, you're putting us all to shame, how do you keep making all these things," and I couldn't tell if this was friendly banter or actually "Uggggggh, this bitch again.")
  • There's a lecturer who teaches in the library on Thursdays who is lovely, and she stopped by today to let us know that she feels really safe in the library and appreciates how hard we're working to keep that. ;__________;
  • I had a one-to-one/performance review today and my manager said lots of nice things! And my obssessive need to fill the leisure reading section with queer books is now an official part of my work record! \o/ (I recced a SHIT TON of books for Black History Month and LGBTQ History month at the start of the year, and the uni has actually bought a bunch of them? WHAT IS THIS POWER I WEILD?!)
Apart from that: I have returned to my slightly-dehydrated potato status, but I've got vitamin d tablets now to make up for the whole never seeing daylight thing! And I have re-organised my craft supplies so that I can actually find things in it, because Marie Kondo was right about stacking your things vertically! I hope you're all okay, I hope that the people who are doing turkey day are having a good time and no one is kicking off at you, love you all, good night.
