VICTORY!

THE HOUSE PASSED MUSTER, OH THANK FUCK. If the landlady complained about anything, Housemate didn't pass it on, and in THEORY she might send someone round to fix the problems. (... I don't hold out much hope considering that last time she sent someone round, he fixed the floorboard that had rotted through but not the leaking pipe that caused it.)

... The best bit of her coming round was probably that today I picked up my pull list from Page 45, and when I got home I went straight up to my room and put my new book on the bookcase and my new comic in the comics box, because that was a thing that I could do. That is such a mundane pleasure, but I don't remember the last time I could!

Oh yeah, and I BEAT MY getyourwordsout GOAL! Did I mention that on here? I was very excited about it because I WROTE 500,000 WORDS IN ELEVEN MONTHS! I think technically this means that I could hang up my hat for all of December, but we all know that I'm not going to because I am me and I can't help myself. I will TRY to give myself this evening off so I can play Pokémon and/or FE3H. I'll TRY.

(... I just discovered that one of the event quests I thought I'd completed in 4tw was actually a quest chain and I have till the end of tomorrow to blitz it. So. No promises.)

I asked Lex out on a date! (It was in the most advice column way possible, because it was very much "I am doing this thing at this time, do you want to come with me?") Promare was showing at one (1) cinema, for MAYBE two nights total, and I knew nothing about it beyond "Twitter has screamed about this a bit," "it's by the people who made Gurren Lagann so the fight scenes are gonna rock," and "holy shit that pastel-neon aesthetic." I NEEDED TO SEE IT.

... But yes, I loved it, it was SO GOOD and made me SO HAPPY! It was pretty much what I wanted! I do kinda want to look it up to see if it's one of those "Well we DID have a twenty-four episode series, but if we just disregard pacing we can fit it into a two-hour OVA" things, because there is SO MUCH GOING ON. But also... It works? Like, it's a two hour movie and it doesn't feel like it at all.

... *shakes streaming sites until the film falls out*
