This wasn't supposed to be halloween themed, and yet

So sithe has been replaying Kingdom Hearts (he bought the fancy collectors' edition on sale), and somehow the only thing I took away from catching his playthrough in passing was "Oh man, Halloween Town!" ... Except that I, a cultural illiterate, didn't actually see Nightmare Before Christmas until I got to uni, so my brain defaults to the Nightmare Revisted covers and Kingdom Hearts looks before it does the original versions????

• This is Halloween by Marilyn Manson and What's This? by Fall Out Boy — which is to say bless Danny Elfman, but I am always confused when I listen to the original versions of the songs!


• No One Lives Forever by Oingo Boingo — ... But here is the Danny Elfman song that I'm always like "Ah yes, cheerful songs about dying! My favourite!"


• Sanctified by Dynamite by Powerwolf — I think I've read this comic, you know.


• The Baddest by K/DA — New K/DA song!! Riot please stop being disgusting human beings so my feelings about K/DA can be less complicated.


• Bitch Came Back by Theory — I am so miffed that I could actually make a "Misogyny but make it catchy" playlist gnsdlhgksbdls


• Parasite Eve by Bring Me The Horizon — lexgarrett found a Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel vid (CW: gore, flashing images, spoilers) that does INTERESTING THINGS with how heavily the source footage is processed, and somehow this has ended with me having this song stuck in my head for about a week? Mmm, delicious apocalypse songs.
