Capslock spoilers for S01E08 of My Next Life as a Villainess:
I 100% CALLED WHAT CATARINA'S DESIRE WOULD BE AND I KNOW I SHOULDN'T BE SURPRISED BY THIS, BUT I JUST LOVE MY USELESS QUEER BABY SHOUJO PROTAGONISTS. ESPECIALLY WHEN EVERYONE AROUND THEM IS SWOONING OVER HOW GREAT THE PROTAGONIST IS AND THEY'RE OBLIVIOUS.
... ALSO SOPHIA KABEDONED HER DESPITE BEING A FOOT SHORTER AND I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW HERE FOR IT I AM.
Seriously, if the show pairs Catarina off with someone instead of leaving it open and/or going "Yes, here is the true end, it's polyamoury, this world is a dating sim and half the time those have a true or secret route where you can date everyone!" I'm going to be so sad. Is this because I like slow-burn endless pining? ABSOLUTELY YES.
