[Fic] The Losers // To Be Seen, But Not Observed
Speed dropping fic again, going to see Carol in about half an hour. This drabble has been a bastard because apparently my complicated feels about Clay/Aisha cannot be summed up in a hundred words. Gave it a shot, though!
The Losers // To Be Seen, But Not Observed
G | 100 words | Aisha/Clay | No warnings | Clay is the key to keeping the Losers on her side.
For this to work, she needs the Losers.
For this to work, she needs them to be unwilling to turn on her. She doesn't need their trust, just consequences they're not willing to risk until Max is dead.
For this to work, she needs Clay.
She needs Clay to listen to Roque's suspicions without hearing them. She needs Clay to look at her, without seeing her. And Clay looks - he has since the start. Convincing him not to see the threat under his nose is as easy as straddling his lap and taking off her shirt.
This will work.
